Gauss Rifle G-1
The MilTech gauss rifle G-1 was conceived and executed as a pure infantry combat rifle. As such, the primary requisites the company identified were reliability, portability, firepower and ease of maintenance. The resulting weapon achived all these goals and has been well received by the military community.
The weapon is composed almost entirely of highly durable composite materials. This has resulted in a very light weapons that is highly resistant to environmental and service wear. The simple design has few moving parts, and the operating assembly is sealed within the receiver. The weapons has two modes of fire: burst or full-automatic. Operation modes is selected via a progressive trigger. Applying 3kg to the trgger results in a 4-round burst being fired. If the trigger is pulled beyond a distinctive stop (requiring and additional 1kg) the weapon fire in the fully automatic mode.
