The Regina Tattler is one of the primary sources of news on Regina Up. Generally dismissed as nothing more than a lurid tabloid, it has had some rather interesting contributors through the years, and some people swear that it is the only source for the real truth. The Tattler is known for it's stories on such news worthy topics as "Radioactive mutant zombie vampires living below level 10", "Ancient space aliens secretly advise Duke Aledon", and the recent "Duke Maceniel came back from beyond to father my unborn child".

Almost completely silent shotgun ammunition. It is a "low signature" munition that not only has a low sound, it also eliminates all smoke and flash which could give away the position of the shooter. It fires sub-sonic, No.4 sized buckshot (12 pellets). It has a high lethality at close and short range, but not very good accuracy at long range. The noise when it is fired is less than the noise of the mechanical action of the shotgun functioning.
Homeworld of the Solomani; located in the Sol Subsector of the Solomani Rim. Also known historically as "earth" in Solomani space.
A minor race of genetically altered humans by Solomani scientists prior to The Long Night. These altered humans were sent out from Solomani space in order to establish colonies. Unfortunately the ship was lost just before the onset of The Long Night and the occupants were forgotten. Recently an established colony of Theresans were encountered in a subsector in the Gvurrdon sector. They are rumored to have retained at least some of the technologies that were available at the time of their disappearance. Theresans are humanoid in stature and feature. Although they have short fur covering their bodies. They also have feline type eyes and retractable claws in their fingertips.

The most mainstream of Regina's newsfaxes. A well-established paper, the Regina Times is considered a reputable source of news on Regina Up.
A pink colored beverage distilled by Barlows. It gives you a warm happy feeling, as if you are floating on clouds, without being disorienting. Drinking it will also repair 1d6 of physical damage. This is not available commercially, although some stocks remain in private hands near Rhylanor (near the former Barlow enclave).
A remnant of Therian technology, the tramline is a network of wormhole like paths connecting various parts of known space via 'gates'. Recently, scientists working for the private Tramline Corporartion have managed to reactivate one tramline that links the Spinward Marches and the Rim. Unfortunately the tramline can only carry organic materials, and items are limited to about 250 kg. There is a small chance that cargo or person entering on end of the tramline man not reach the other end. Travell via tramline is at your own risk, and costs MCr 2.

Tukera Lines, LIC
Tukera Lines operates a network of passenger and freight vessels throughout the Imperium, usually following the X-boat routes. Coreward, Tukera Lines has a virtual monopoly on long distance travel. Tukera is also known in the Spinward Marches for the security of it's mammoth luxury liners, that are relatively impervious to attack from small pirates because of their size and armament.
